Delete Your Account

Option 1 — Delete it yourself (immediate)

The fastest way is the built-in control, available on both the mobile app and the website:

1. Sign in to your Metal Strength account.
2. Open your Dashboard.
3. Open Settings — on a phone it sits behind the More tab.
4. Tap Delete account and confirm.

Your account and data are removed straight away.

If you have an active Premium subscription

Where you bought Premium decides how the billing stops:

• Bought on the website (PayPal) — the subscription is cancelled automatically as part of the deletion, so you are not billed again. If the cancellation cannot be completed, the app tells you and stops, so your subscription is never left billing an account that no longer exists.
• Bought in the Android app (Google Play) — Google, not us, manages that subscription. Cancel it in the Play Store → Menu → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, then delete your account.
• Bought in the iOS app (App Store) — Apple manages that subscription. Cancel it in Settings → your name → Subscriptions, then delete your account.

Deleting the account does not automatically refund a period you have already paid for, and store refunds are handled by Google or Apple under their own rules.

Option 2 — Request deletion by email

If you can't sign in, or you'd rather we do it for you, email us from the address on your account and we will delete it. Please send your request from your account email so we can verify it's you.

We action verified deletion requests without undue delay, and in any case within 30 days.

Delete specific data (without closing your account)

You don't have to delete your whole account to remove data. While signed in, you can delete individual items directly from your Dashboard — a saved or built workout, a logged session, a saved lift or personal record, a progress photo, a macro or body-fat save, a bookmarked exercise. Each deletion is immediate and permanent. You can also remove a single friend, or stop sharing your training with all of them at once, from Friends — either takes effect straight away. If you'd like us to remove specific data for you, email hello@metalstrength.fit from your account address describing what to delete.

Before you close your account, you can keep a copy of everything: open Settings → Your data → Download my data and we will email you an archive of your records and progress photos. Once the account is deleted we cannot recover it for you.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes your account and every piece of data tied to it, including:

• Your account and sign-in credentials (email, or your linked Google / Apple sign-in)
• Your profile and preferences (name, sex, age, bodyweight, height, units, goals, sports, experience level, where you train)
• Your built and saved workouts, training plans, and any unfinished plan draft
• Your logged workout sessions and the whole training history behind your charts, badges and streaks
• Your saved lifts, personal records and strength history
• Your macro and body-fat calculator saves
• Your bookmarked exercises
• Your progress photos — both the entries and the image files in storage
• Your friend code, your display name, and every friend connection you have — your friends stop seeing anything from you and you disappear from their lists
• Your subscription record

What we keep

Two things survive deletion:

• Billing and transaction records — the minimum we are legally required to keep for accounting and tax purposes, kept only as long as the law requires and used for nothing else.
• Community record submissions — if you submitted a lift for the record board, that submission and its uploaded files are stored separately from your account (they can be sent without one), so account deletion does not reach them. Email us and we will remove them too.

Everything else described above is deleted and cannot be recovered.
